What this is
The transcript of the Q2 FY27 earnings conference call held on October 12, 2026, with the Managing Director and CEO and the Chief Financial Officer, is now on record.
IT project now live in all branches
- Project Tejas, the company's IT transformation covering loan origination and loan management systems, went live in phases through July, August and September, with the last set of branches going live from October 1.
- All branches are now on the new system.
How it affected disbursements
- In the month a branch moved to the new system, disbursements at that branch dropped sharply, and recovered to most of the earlier level the following month.
- Q2 disbursements came in at INR2,375 crores.
- That figure is after netting off INR29 crores relating to cancellation of demand drafts, following NHB guidelines, and includes cancellations between the close of the quarter and the results date.
- Management described the disruption as one-time, caused by changed process flow (additional OTPs for borrower and co-borrower) and monthly data migration from the legacy system.
Telangana registration requirement
- A new registration requirement means property legality has to be confirmed at the sub-registrar office before documentation. The company now asks customers to get this verification before processing begins. Management described this as a one-quarter impact.
Demand read
- Management said demand is unchanged across regions and that branches not yet migrated showed no weakness in business.
Guidance held
- Full-year disbursement guidance was maintained at INR13,000 crores, with a push planned in Q3 and Q4 to cover the shortfall.
- Of 28 branches planned for the year, 25 are already started, operational and staffed.
- Staff released from the migration work will move to the sales team, which management expects to support Q3 and Q4 disbursements.
Prepayments
- Quarterly prepayments were 1,795, compared with 1,857 in the previous quarter, which management read as an improvement after steps such as converting regular over-payers into deposits and using alerts.
- Management also said the rate hike narrows the gap between what the market offers and what the company offers.
