- The requirement to maintain the Investment Fluctuation Reserve was discontinued with effect from 18.05.2026, and the balance standing in the IFR as on 17.05.2026, amounting to Rs.552.24 crore, was transferred to the General Reserve.
- For loans impacted by the RBI circular on resolution of stressed assets, loans of Rs.1200.77 crore were impacted, of which Rs.533.33 crore were classified as NPA as on 30.09.2026, with an additional provision requirement of Rs.316.87 crore and an equal provision already made.
- For accounts under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, a provision of Rs.3985.87 crore (including technical write off) is held against a total outstanding of Rs. 3985.87 crore as on 30th September 2026.

What investors may watch
The results show Total Income and Net Profit for the quarter both higher on a year-on-year basis, with gross NPA percentage at 1.96% and net NPA percentage at 0.18%, and capital adequacy at 18.85%. The items reported alongside - the RBI penalty, frauds reported, and the fact that the Audit Committee could not be constituted for want of quorum so the results were placed directly before the Board under Clause 14A - are the points a reader may want to note when assessing the quality of the quarter.
