Transrail Lighting has secured new orders worth more than ₹574 crore, mainly in its core domestic Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business.

• A major contribution comes from reconductoring of transmission lines using the company's carbon core HTLS conductors made at its Silvassa plant.
• The wins include EPC of transmission lines, reconductoring projects with supply of HTLS conductors, and supply of poles.
• One is an EPC contract for construction of a transmission line from a very large private sector Indian developer.

• Order intake for the year now stands at ₹1,609 crore.
• The company is L1 (lowest bidder) in an additional ₹694 crore worth of orders. L1 means selected as lowest bidder, not yet a confirmed order.

Management

MD & CEO Randeep Narang said the wins reflect customer confidence in the company's engineering, manufacturing and execution capabilities, and highlighted the HTLS reconductoring jobs as a testimony to its advanced product range. The company says it has a healthy bidding pipeline across domestic and international markets.
