India: production
- Crude steel production was 6.21 million tons in 2QFY27, against 5.76 million tons in 1QFY27 and 5.64 million tons in 2QFY26.
- That is up 8% QoQ and 10% YoY, primarily driven by higher output at the Jamshedpur and Kalinganagar facilities.

- Half-year deliveries were 11.14 million tons, up 8% YoY from 10.30 million tons.
- The company attributes this to an enriched product mix and stable demand across market segments despite the seasonal rains.
Where the domestic volumes came from
- Automotive & Special Products: best-ever second-quarter volumes of ~1.1 million tons, up 9% QoQ and 19% YoY, helped by the ramp-up of Continuous Annealing and Galvanising lines at Kalinganagar and the Combi mill at Jamshedpur.

- Downstream sales across Cold rolled, Galvanised, Tubes, Tinplate, Wires and Colors continued to grow; Colors recorded best-ever quarterly volumes, up 34% QoQ.
- Gross Merchandise Value from the e-commerce platforms Tata Steel Aashiyana and DigECA was Rs 2,860 crores for the quarter, up 30% QoQ.

- Thailand: saleable steel production of 0.32 million tons and deliveries of 0.31 million tons; deliveries were marginally lower QoQ, primarily due to heavy rains in September 2026.
