Management change
- Mr. Anish Agarwal has resigned from the post of Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from 26 October 2026. The Company stated that the resignation letter was received after the closure of business hours.
- The Board, as per the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, approved the appointment of Mr. Amit Dhadha as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company, with effect from 27 October 2026.
- The CFO is the executive responsible for a company's finances, accounts and financial reporting, so a change in this post is one of the management events investors usually track. Here the exit and the new appointment are back to back, with the new CFO taking charge the day after the outgoing CFO's resignation took effect.
Results approved
The Board also approved the Unaudited Financial Results (Standalone and Consolidated) for the second quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026, after review by the Audit Committee. The statutory auditors issued a limited review report on the standalone results. All figures below are as printed in the update, in lakh, with the year-earlier quarter or half year shown for comparison.
Standalone (the Company on its own)
- Revenue from operations for the quarter: 22,589.34 lakh, against 16,993.06 lakh in the same quarter last year.
- Profit for the period: 1,363.07 lakh, against 1,979.86 lakh a year earlier.
- Basic earnings per share: 3.75, against 5.47.

- Profit for the period: 296.68 lakh, against 1,718.57 lakh.
- Basic earnings per share: 0.82, against 4.75.
- Half year revenue from operations: 46,442.49 lakh, against 39,998.85 lakh.

What sits inside last year's numbers
The notes to the results state that exceptional items for the quarter and six months ended 30 September 2025, and for the previous year ended 31 March 2026, represent enhanced compensation amounting to ₹ 949.64 lakhs (including interest of ₹ 622.45 lakhs) received from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation against land acquired by DMRC in an earlier year. That one-off item was part of the year-earlier profit figures, which is relevant when comparing the two periods.
Dividend already approved by shareholders
The notes also record that the shareholders of the Company, at the Annual General Meeting held on 4 September 2026, approved a final dividend of Rs 2.75 per share (face value of Rs 2 per share) for the financial year 2025-26.
What investors can take away
- This is a combined update: a senior management change plus the quarterly numbers, both cleared at the same Board meeting.
- Revenue from operations is higher year on year on both the standalone and consolidated basis for the quarter, while profit for the period is lower than the year-earlier quarter, a quarter that carried the ₹ 949.64 lakhs exceptional receipt.
- The CFO transition is immediate and a successor is named in the same update; the update states the resignation with effect from 26 October 2026 and the appointment with effect from 27 October 2026.
