- Face Value
- Rs. 10

Dividend and record date
- The Board, at its meeting held on October 22, 2026, declared an interim dividend of Rs. 0.15 per equity share of face value Rs. 10 each for the financial year 2026-27.
- It is payable to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members or in depository records as beneficial owners on the record date, Friday, October 30, 2026.
What this communication is
The company has sent shareholders an email explaining how tax will be deducted at source (TDS) when the dividend is paid, and what paperwork shareholders must submit to get a lower or nil rate. Dividend is taxable in the hands of shareholders, so the company deducts tax before paying.
Resident shareholders
- TDS at 10% on the dividend amount unless an exemption applies.
- 20% if PAN is not available or is invalid, or if PAN is not linked with Aadhaar as required.
- No TDS for resident individual shareholders if the total dividend paid or payable by the company in tax year 2026-27 does not exceed Rs.10,000.
- Nil deduction is possible with a valid Form 121 for eligible resident individuals, or with self-declarations from LIC, GIC and other insurers, mutual funds covered under Section 393(5), Category I and II AIFs, and entities with unconditionally exempt income, each with the specified supporting documents.
- A lower or nil withholding tax certificate from the tax authority can also be used.
Non-resident shareholders
- 20% plus applicable surcharge and cess, or the DTAA rate, whichever is lower.
- To claim the DTAA rate, a shareholder needs a self-attested PAN copy (or a declaration if PAN is unavailable), a Tax Residency Certificate for FY 2026-27, Form 41 shared electronically on the Income Tax Portal, a self-declaration on tax residency and beneficial ownership, and a SEBI registration copy for foreign institutional and portfolio investors.
- A lower or nil withholding certificate under Section 395 of the Act is needed for any rate below the prescribed rates.
Two dates to note
- Forms and documents for nil or lower TDS must be uploaded on the Registrar's portal by close of business hours on November 3, 2026. Forms that are incomplete or unsigned will not be considered.
- Requests to pass TDS credit to a person other than the registered shareholder (Rule 203 declaration) must reach the company before November 13, 2026.
Other points from the communication
- Where one PAN holds shares in multiple accounts under different categories, the higher applicable rate applies to the entire holding.
- Documents submitted on the portal are valid for one financial year, FY 2026-27, and only documents uploaded there will be used for TDS computation.
- If tax is deducted at a higher rate, the shareholder can claim a refund in the income tax return shared with the tax authorities.
- A TDS certificate will be emailed to the registered email ID, and the credit can be seen in Form 168 after January 31, 2027.
- Shareholders are asked to keep bank account details (IFSC, MICR) updated in their demat account or folio for timely dividend credit.
What it means for a retail holder
The dividend itself is small per share, but what a shareholder actually receives depends on the tax rate applied. Holding a valid PAN linked with Aadhaar keeps the resident rate at 10%. Small resident individual holders whose total dividend from the company for the year stays within Rs.10,000 fall outside TDS. Anyone who believes a lower or nil rate applies should file the required form and documents by the stated cut-off, since the company will otherwise deduct at the standard or higher rate.
