What the notice is about
National Plastic Industries has released a newspaper advertisement reminding shareholders about the SEBI special window for re-lodging transfer requests of physical shares. This is a bi-monthly communication the company is putting out to shareholders.
Window dates
- An earlier special window was made available for a period of six months, from July 07, 2025 to January 08, 2026, following a SEBI circular dated July 02, 2025.
- SEBI then issued a further circular dated January 30, 2026 extending the facility, and a fresh one-year special window is now available from February 05, 2026 to February 04, 2027.
Who this covers
- The facility applies only to transfer deeds that were lodged before April 01, 2019.
- Those deeds must have been rejected, returned or not attended to because of a deficiency in the documents, the process, or otherwise.
- Transfer requests submitted within this window must be complete in all respects.
Conditions to note
- Shares re-lodged during this period will be transferred only in demat mode.
- Shareholders must have an active demat account.
- The Client Master List (CML) has to be provided along with the transfer documents.
- Eligible shareholders are requested to submit their duly completed transfer requests on or before the SEBI deadline of February 04, 2027.
Where to send the request
The company's Registrar and Share Transfer Agent is MUFG Intime India Private Limited (formerly known as Link Intime India Private Limited), at C-101, 247 Park, LBS Marg, Vikhroli West, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The RTA can be reached on 1800-1020-878 or at investor.helpdesk@in.mpms.mufg.com, and the company can be contacted at investor@nationalplastic.com. The notice is also placed on the company's website, www.nationalplastic.com.
What it means for shareholders
- This is a procedural facilitation notice rather than a change in the company's business or finances.
- Shareholders still holding physical shares whose old transfer requests were rejected or left unattended have a defined period to resubmit them.
- Because the transfer will happen only in demat form, holders should make sure their demat account is active and the CML is ready before applying.
- The deadline of February 04, 2027 matters: requests after that date fall outside this window.
