The company says these products play a role in disease detection, diagnosis, staging and treatment planning across oncology, cardiology and neurology. In the therapeutic space, its Iodine-131 products have long supported treatment of thyroid disease, thyroid cancer and neuroblastoma through targeted delivery of radiation to diseased tissue.
Why the company is expanding
The release states the business continues to see very strong demand for RUBY-FILL® and that the customer base has doubled in the last 3 years. It says this expansion will allow Jubilant to fulfil the elevated demand. Harsher Singh, CEO, Jubilant Radiopharma business, said the investment recognises the business's innovation capabilities in Nuclear Medicine and the role the sector plays in advancing diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, and that the project will build capability in Quebec, create and secure high-value jobs, and ensure a reliable supply of essential radiopharmaceutical products in Canada and around the world.
