What was announced
Jindal Stainless issued a press release on a project application, not a financial transaction.
- The company contributed to the structural reinforcement of Sadhana Bhawan, the meditation and assembly hall at Shri Kripalu Dham, Mangarh, Uttar Pradesh, built in 1965.
- It facilitated supply of over 160 tonnes of especially-fabricated building components such as load-bearing columns, beams and cross girders.
- Supply was routed through its subsidiary Jindal Stainless Steelway Limited (JSSL).
- Material used: Hot Rolled Annealed and Pickled (HRAP) plates of stainless steel grade 304L, made at Jindal Stainless plants.
How the project was done
The approach strengthened the structure from within rather than rebuilding it, with the new system designed to share load with the original structure and preserve its architectural character. Grade 304L was chosen for the indoor, non-marine, non-industrial setting for strength, corrosion resistance and durability.
Jagat Guru Kripalu Parishad was the design consultant and Vats Group handled fabrication and installation. Jindal Stainless was the material and technical partner.
