What was shared
The company informed the exchanges that it has sent a letter to shareholders who still hold shares in physical certificate form, as required by a SEBI Master Circular.
What shareholders are asked to do
- Furnish or update PAN, contact details, mobile number, specimen signature and bank account details.
- Register nomination details (or opt out of nomination).
- PAN must be linked with Aadhaar; if not linked, the PAN is deemed invalid and the folio is treated as one without PAN.
Forms referred to: ISR-1 (PAN/KYC), ISR-2 (signature confirmation by banker), ISR-3 (opting out of nomination), ISR-4 (duplicate certificates, transmission, splitting, consolidation and similar service requests), ISR-13 (nomination) and ISR-14 (change of nomination). These are available on the company's corporate governance web page.
Dematerialisation window
SEBI has allowed a special window for a period of one year, from February 5, 2026 to February 4, 2027, to facilitate transfer and dematerialisation of physical shares. Shares re-lodged for transfer during this period will be issued only in demat mode. SEBI has also mandated that transfer or sale of shares held in physical mode will not be processed unless they are in dematerialised form, so holders are urged to dematerialise.
Where to submit
Documents can be submitted by In Person Verification, by post, or electronically with e-sign to the Registrar and Transfer Agent, Skyline Financial Services Private Limited, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi. Shareholders who have already updated these details may ignore the letter.
What it means for investors
This is administrative investor-servicing correspondence. It affects only those holding shares in physical form and does not relate to the company's operations, earnings or capital structure. Investors holding shares in demat accounts are not required to act.
