How a retail investor can read this
The resolution is framed as a compliance measure. The Company states it is undertaking necessary measures for achieving compliance with the applicable MPS requirements, and a bonus issue to public shareholders, with promoters and promoter group forgoing their entitlement, is one of the recognised methods under the applicable regulatory framework. The bonus therefore accrues to the public shareholder base as on the record date, and the promoter and promoter group do not receive these shares.
