Stocks and outlook
Higher supplies enabled the company to liquidate around 63 MT of pithead coal stocks in the first six months of FY 2026-27. With the monsoon over, the company says production is expected to pick up further along with supplies.

Coal India has been assigned a production target of 815 MT and a supply target of 850 MT for the current fiscal.
