What was announced

The company said it is launching new postpaid plans with even more benefits built in. From October 8, 2026, customers can enjoy one international trip with free roaming every year with these new postpaid plans, along with all existing benefits.

Family plans

For customers on the company's postpaid family plans, the free international roaming option is available for each and every family member who is part of the plan.

• ₹499: Individual SIM; unlimited data and calling; Xstream Play Premium and Google One; 1 free trip per SIM per year
• ₹749: Family of 2; unlimited data and calling; Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One; 1 free trip per SIM per year
• ₹1049: Family of 3; unlimited data and calling; Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One; 1 free trip per SIM per year
• ₹1249: Family of 4; unlimited data and calling; Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One; 1 free trip per SIM per year
• ₹1449: Family of 4; unlimited data and calling; Netflix Basic, Apple iCloud+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Xstream Play Premium and Google One; 1 free trip per SIM per year

All six plan tiers list unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud prevention, and 1 free trip per SIM per year.

Other features the company highlighted

The postpaid plans come with Fast Lane technology and Unlimited Data, described as network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links. Customers also get entertainment subscriptions and access to exclusive experiences through the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club, including comedy shows, movie premieres and concerts.

How customers get the plans

Effective October 8, 2026, the plans are available for all customers opting for Airtel Postpaid. Existing Airtel customers, whether on old postpaid plans or on prepaid, can upgrade through the Airtel App or by visiting a nearby Airtel Store. Non-Airtel customers can switch to Airtel Postpaid by raising a switching request through the app or by visiting a store.
