Dividend and record date
- The Board declared a 2nd interim dividend of Re.1/- (100%) per equity share of face value Re.1/- each for financial year 2026-27.
- Record date is Saturday, 24th October, 2026 — shareholders on the register on that date are entitled to receive the dividend.
- The dividend will be paid on or before 17th November, 2026, subject to applicable deduction of tax at source.
- Including the 1st interim dividend of Re.1/- per share declared in July 2026, the total interim dividend declared till date for the year is 200% (i.e. Rs.2/-) per share.
Quarterly and half-year results (standalone, unaudited)
- Revenue from operations: Rs. 40,336.95 lakh for the quarter ended 30th September, 2026 and Rs. 87,552.23 lakh for the half year.
- Profit for the period: Rs. 6,303.28 lakh for the quarter and Rs. 12,817.25 lakh for the half year.
- Earnings per share (basic and diluted): Rs. 2.53 for the quarter and Rs. 5.15 for the half year.
- The statutory auditors, Azad Jain & Co., issued a limited review report on both the standalone and consolidated unaudited results; the consolidated numbers include the joint venture Bhansali Nippon A & L Private Limited.
Expansion project update
- The plan to raise ABS production capacity from 75000 TPA to 100000 TPA at an estimated cost of Rs.200 crores was expected to be completed by September 2026.
- Reasons given for the slippage: delivery of imported equipment is delayed due to shortage or non-availability of shipping containers; service engineers of foreign suppliers are unable to commit exact visit schedules for equipment commissioning trials; and delivery of the reactor is delayed due to a disturbed supply chain and is now expected in November 2026.
- Management has reviewed the implementation plan and re-aligned the operational shutdown schedule with the revised equipment delivery and construction sequence to minimise loss of production hours. It is confident of completing the project by end of March 2027.
What this means for a retail investor
- The dividend is a cash payout decided by the Board. The record date only fixes who is eligible: shares must be held on that date to receive the Re.1/- per share.
- The results show the profit figures for the quarter and half year as approved by the Board and reviewed by the auditors.
- The capacity expansion is the growth project, and its commissioning date has moved to end of March 2027, with the company citing global supply-chain and war-related disruptions for the delay.
